Mr. Adolph H. Wallace of Providence, RI passed away on December 10, 2018 of natural causes. Born in St. Thomas Parish, Jamaica to the late Stanley Wallace and the late Ethel Wallace (Powell). Adolph aka "Mr. Mike" or "short dread" was well-known and respected member of the community throughout his years. He was a successful entrepreneur who also worked as an carpenter on his properties. Even with all of his success; to him his greatest accomplishments was being a father to his children. He was a very kind hearted and strong willed man.
Adolph H Wallace aka "ID" was a champion. A well known and respected head figure in his community of Vietnam, August town Jamaica. Revered for his leadership role in bringing growth and development to his community by advocating for work to meet the economic needs of the people; for his kind and selfless nature , and his strong spiritual base as a "Rastaman". He lived a fearless life, as only he knew how by teaching and mentoring the youth. He will be truly missed by his loved ones.
Adolph is preceded in death by his son, Tasfa Wallace, his sister Blounsy and brothers Norman & Reginald. He also leaves his sisters, Joyce and Jenny and a brother Keith. He leaves behind his children: Tafawa Wallace, Nickoyan Wallace, Ojomo Wallace, Timi Wallace, Kamal Wallace, Natasha wallace O’Connor, Teneisha Scott Wallace, Step children: Sidney Scott, and Tara Benton. He also leaves a host of (26) grandchildren, (4) great grandchildren as well as a host of Family and Friends.
Funeral arrangements are as follows: Keefe funeral home December 21, 2018 with viewing hours from 9am-11am. The service will immediately follow. He will be going to North Burial Ground. Repass will be at 59 Brightridge Ave., East Providence RI.
